Heathcote Community Plan 2017 – 2021

The current Community Plan builds on the 2014 - 2017 Community Plan and was developed through a series of community consultations during 2017. The Community Plan 2017 – 2021 goals and projects will be reviewed June 2018 and results reported to the community. Yearly achievements will be annually reported.

At Advance Heathcote Incorporated's Annual General Meeting, held on 28th November 2017, the President presented his Report on the 2014 - 2017 achievements of the Community Plan activities. This Report is available to our community.

Heathcote Community & Tourist Trail Network

The Feasibilty Study proposes three new Trails off the O'Keefe Rail Trail - the Amber Trail, the Pink Cliffs Trail and the Winery Trail. This network of trails offers walking and cycling for the locals, encourages visitors to Heathcote and contributes to the local economy.


Heathcote Child Care Feasibility Study

Mandalay Resources Costerfield Operations funded a feasibility study into the needs for child care in our community.


Rural Communities Strategy: June 2016

The City of Greater Bendigo Council endorsed this policy in September 2016 and will implement action plans and strategies across rural communities and the City of Greater Bendigo from late 2016 - 2021.
